PARIS, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake rocked Vendee in west-central France early Monday and no damage has been reported, the French Central Seismological Bureau said.
The quake, which hit at 4:08 a.m. local time (0308 GMT), was centered 19 km from the commune of Fontenay-le-Comte and was felt by neighboring communes.
No casualties have been reported so far in Vendee, one of France's most exposed districts to seismic risks.
