YANGON, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Two people including a policeman were injured in a series of bomb explosions in Sittwe, capital of Myanmar's Rakhine state Saturday morning.
According to a statement released by the office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Defense Services, the bomb blast hit three places, a court, a district land records department office and residential compound of the secretary of the state government.
Three others unexploded bombs were also detected in the area.
During investigation into the incident, the authorities found a packet suspected as a bomb and further action is being taken, the release added.
