BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- London's Serpentine Gallery Pavilion has arrived at Wangfujing commercial district in downtown Beijing, beginning its first overseas tour.
Each summer, London's Serpentine Pavilion program cooperates with an architect and asks them to build a temporary shelter on the gallery's lawn.
The Serpentine Gallery Pavilion in Beijing, inspired by Confucianism, was designed by Chinese architect Liu Jiakun. It covers 6,400 square meters near WF CENTRAL and will run from May to October.
