TUNIS, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- China will take part in "Megara Challenge 2018" for "Smart Cities" held in Tunisia, Sana Adouni, head of media relations at organizing committee of this event, told Xinhua Wednesday.
Candidate municipalities will propose projects in close connection with themes such as environment, cleanliness of municipalities and sustainable development.
Sana Adouni said MEGARA Challenge is not only a competitive stage for municipal projects, but also an international exchange of experiences on cleanliness and sustainable development, which is the responsibility of citizens and civil society.
As an international inter-municipal competition, this event is scheduled on Oct. 25-26 in La Marsa city, northern suburbs of Tunis, attracting over 20 countries.
