NEW DELHI, March 6 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people were killed and 20 others injured on Wednesday after a speeding bus crashed into another in India's western state of Rajasthan, officials said.
The accident took place near Kainpura crossing in Pali district, 301 km southwest of Jaipur, the capital city of the state.
"Those injured were immediately sent to the hospital, where the conditions of some were stated to be critical," a police officer posted in Pali said.
Health officials said the dead include a woman.
Police have registered the case and ordered investigations.
Deadly road accidents are common in India, often due to overloading, bad conditions of roads and reckless driving.
