Zheng Yunbo, 32, started his career as a fruit grower in his home town Zigui County in 2012 when he quitted his job in a bigger city several years after graduating from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. Besides farming, he took advantages of his specialty by uploading music videos on social networks to promote the fruits he grew on over 100 mu (about 6.67 hectares) of rented fields. The videos soon went viral on the Internet and won him lots of fans, and many TV stations invited him to their talent shows. While performing on concerts all over the country, Zheng still works on his fruit business at the same time. With a dozen of young business partners, he established an agricultural company which sees an annual revenue of over 10 million yuan (about 1.49 million U.S. dollars). (Xinhua/Zheng Jiayu)
