BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- Domestic drama film "Better Days" topped the Chinese mainland box office on Sunday, grossing over 91.97 million yuan (about 13.07 million U.S. dollars), the China Movie Data Information Network said Monday.
Accounting for nearly 43 percent of the daily tally on the tenth day of its screening, the film, directed by Derek Tsang, tells the story of two high school students whose fates were changed by an accident.
It was followed by "Terminator: Dark Fate," the sixth installment in the "Terminator" franchise, which grossed nearly 55 million yuan on the 3rd day of its screening..
Coming in third was "Weathering With You," a Japanese animated romantic fantasy film telling of a high school teenager who appears to be able to manipulate the weather. It pocketed 42.41 million yuan on the 3rd day of its screening.
